Javier has a law degree from the Complutense University of Madrid. Member of the Tax Career by opposition, currently on leave and Partner-Director of the firm since 2001, the date on which he founded Sánchez-Junco Lawyers.
With 20 years of experience in the Prosecutor’s Career and assignments in the Prosecutor’s Offices of the High Courts of Justice of Asturias and Madrid, State Attorney General’s Office (Technical Secretariat of the State Attorney General), Prosecutor’s Office before the Constitutional Court and Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office, in 2001 and after leaving public office, he founded the firm Sánchez-Junco Lawyers, a firm specializing in Economic Criminal Law.
He has been a professor of the subjects of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedural Law, at ICADE for more than 18 years and at the UNED, in the Master of Access to the Legal Profession of the Carlos III University, in ISDE and in the Master of Economic Criminal Law. of the Chair of Company Law at KPMG.
A regular speaker at various forums, companies and law firms, he is a member of the Academic Council of the Foundation for Research in Law and Business (FIDE).
Author of various books and publications on Criminal and Procedural-Criminal Law, published, among others, by the Bosch and Comares publishing houses.
He is recognized by the most important international legal directories among the most outstanding lawyers in the field of Economic Criminal Law.
He speaks fluently English and French.
